Zahlee Mellington and Mitchell Clarke are the school captains with Matilda Riddell and Rory Motton voted as vice-captains.
Mitchell said it was nerve wracking talking in front of all the students and teachers.
“Now we are going to be the next leaders of the school, it puts us under a bit more pressure,” he said.
Mitchell said he always wanted to be the school captain.
“(I wanted to be school captain) because of my sister – I wanted to follow in her footsteps,” he said.
Mitchell said next year he hoped more students could participate in the Lego robotics competition.
Zahlee said it was exciting.
“(During the speeches) it felt like people were going to laugh at you and that you wouldn’t get in but it was a good experience,” she said.
Zahlee said she wanted to re-paint some things around the school.
Rory said he wasn’t very confident speaking in front of a lot of people.
“After I did the speech in the gym I felt much better,” he said.
Rory said he would like to add some healthy snacks and food in the school canteen.
