Racegoers also have the chance to win $250 cash in the popular St Arnaud racebook competition.
An interesting runner in the lucky last race is the polemarker, Dot The Eye for local breeder-owner-trainer, Denis McIntyre.
The four-year-old gelded son of Shadow Play resumes from a break in a $7000 Heat of the Vicbred Platinum Series.
Dot The Eye debuted in a two-year-old contest at Maryborough back in July 2016 and showed promise with a 10-metre, fourth placing after mixing his gait in the final lap.
Twelve months later Dot The Eye stepped out at Charlton to be pipped on the post by the barest of margins, so it seemed only a matter of time before the pacer notched up a victory.
However two luckless runs at Maryborough and Swan Hill back in August saw McIntyre give his horse a freshen up along with education trials at Maryborough before the team was ready to return to racing.
With regular driver Neil McCallum out of action, the reins on Sunday have gone to talented Chris Svansosio who partnered Rocknroll Zena to spoil the McIntryre's party at Charlton, so hopefully he'll make amends.
True Devotion
Ararat trainer Tracey Collins enjoyed another home-track victory on Monday afternoon when her four-year-old mare Glenferrie Devotee saluted in the $7000 VHRSC C0 Pace with driver Jason Lee in the spider.
The daughter of Changeover NZ overhauled the tiring leaders down the home stretch to score by three metres in a rate of 1:59.4 for the 1790-metre journey.
Glenferrie Devotee also won at RT White Raceway and now has two victories and a second on the board.
Double Vision
Ararat horseman Michael Bellman recorded a longshot training quinella at Ararat when his pair of runners Mystical Tilly and Lynden Abbey fought out the finish of a $7000 C2-3 contest over 2195 metres.
The pair of 20/1 chances were separated by a length at the post, with Bellman's drive Lynden Abbey going down to stablemate Mystical Tilly which was driven by Neil McCallum
