The kids have been participating in the Hot Shots program and will get to show off their skills on day one of the grand slam.
Secretary of Haven Tennis Club Rebecca Bird said the kids were looking forward to being part of the event.
“We get to do a showcase for Hot Shots before the matches start on that day for the Australian Open,” she said.
“The kids are excited – we get to walk around the Australian Open before anyone gets there.”
Haven’s juniors also participated in last year’s event, with Ms Bird hoping to take 10 kids this year.
“Last year we were really lucky and we got to go centre court and toss the coin,” she said.
“We don’t find out what court we will be on this year until we get there.
”We will get to stay on the sidelines while the players come out.”
