Secretary Neville Thomas said the club had grown across its five decades to include 180 members who share a passion for historical vehicles.
He said member Terry Payne was the only person who would achieve 50 years of continuous membership.
Mr Thomas said the club originally focused on top-quality restoration.
“Members were young and enthusiastic and ‘hands on,’ willingly sharing ideas and skills to help another vehicle return to the road,” he said.
Nowadays, the focus has shifted on to its members.
“We have more than 40 club events each year including gatherings throughout the region to movie nights at our renovated club rooms in Dooen and entertaining visits from other vehicle clubs,” he said.
Celebrations begin at an general meeting on Friday followed by a dinner at the Olde Horsham Restaurant.
Mr Thomas said celebratory events will continue throughout the year.
