The Redbacks have struggled at different times during the season but in the earlier season clash against the Tornadoes in round four, it was Ararat who got the win by 21 points in front of its home crowd.
This time the Ararat team will have to do it away from home with the challenge to replicate the performance in an unfamiliar environment.
The team returned to training this week and coach Steve Cronin said he is confident the earlier season performance can be repeated.
“We had a good session on Monday night and everyone looked good,” he said.
“It is always different playing away from home but we have a couple of inclusions for this match that we didn’t have last time we played them which will help strengthen the squad. The return of Josh Feigert will be a big asset for us after missing the last few games due to being overseas and Jesse Poulton returns from an ankle injury.”
The Lady Redbacks will also face the Tornadoes with coach Wayne Slack confident of a strong performance.
“We are seeing elements every week of improvement, the challenge we have is to be more consistent,” he said.
“Terang play very good team basketball. I will be looking for a better result than last time, because we are more experienced this time around.”
