On Monday, volunteers helped an injured hiker on Mackey’s Peak track.
Stawell State Emergency Services duty officer Jenny Rooke said visitors from Queensland got into trouble when a female hiker slipped and injured her ankle.
“They went up the Pinnacle and it’s easy to come down the wrong track,” she said.
“We were about 600 metres from the bottom when we found them.” Ms Rooke said the hikers were able to use their phones to guide crews to their location.
“They didn’t know what track they were on but they sent us photos and we worked it out,” she said.
On Wednesday, emergency services rescued another injured hiker on the Pinnacle track.
