POLICE are investigating a report of an assault in Peppertree Lane, Horsham on Friday night.

Constable Craig Mauger of Horsham said the alleged assault occurred near Holy Trinity Lutheran College at 7.15pm.
He said the victim told police the perpetrators – a man and a woman – were walking a grey and white Siberian husky when the assault occurred.
The victim sustained a split lip and some bleeding.
“The (alleged male perpetrator) was approximately 24 years old, 172 centimetres tall with a medium build. He had blonde hair, was wearing a grey hoodie and was carrying a fishing rod,” Constable Mauger said.
Constable Mauger said the victim described the woman as aged in her mid 20s, 176 centimetres tall with dark shoulder-length hair.
He said she wore a light coloured T-shirt with blue jeans.
Constable Mauger called on any witnesses to the incident to phone Horsham police on 5382 9200.
