Sunnyside 1 are in top spot, but no points for a bye this week means Horsham City 1 should jump to top spot with a win against Edenhope 1. City and Nhill 1 have their byes next week.
Coughlin Park 1 travel to Nhill and need to win to keep Dimboola 1 and Kaniva 1 below them on the ladder.

Dimboola play at Horsham Golf 1 and need the win to keep their finals chances alive. Coughlin Park 2 can help their club mates out if they overcome Kaniva 1.
DIVISION 2
In Division 2, there is not much between Sunnyside 2 and Horsham City 2 at the top of the ladder.
Sunnyside 2 play Coughlin Park 3 and should be able to do enough to stay one step ahead. Horsham City 2 play Horsham City 3 and would be expected to win the battle of the two City teams.
Nhill 2 will stay in touch with the top two sides with a win over Dimboola 2.
Natimuk take on Goroke and win would see them consolidate fourth spot.
Goroke can make the battle for finals go down to the wire with a win.
DIVISION 3
Nhill 3 have a good break in top spot of the Division 3 ladder.
Kaniva 2 travel to Nhill this week and would love a win to hold onto fourth spot.
Second side Sunnyside 4 could help Kaniva out with a win over fifth team Horsham City 4. Horsham Golf 2 will be looking to win over Coughlin Park 4 to stay in the chase for second spot.
MIDWEEK PENNANT
Three games remain in the Midweek Pennant season.
Kaniva 1 travel to Coughlin Park 1 and may need to win to hold onto top spot.
Horsham City 1 are poised to take top spot with a win against Dimboola if Kaniva get beaten. The other game sees Sunnyside 1 travel to Nhill and the visitors need a win to keep their finals chances alive. Serviceton are well ahead in top spot in Division 2 and win against Goroke on Monday will reinforce that. Natimuk should remain in second spot with a win over Edenhope.
Sunnyside 2 need to take the points against Coughlin Park 2 to stay in the race for a double chance in the finals.
State Events
Sunday saw the culmination of the men’s state pairs for the Wimmera Division at Sunnyside Bowling Club. The final was between two Horsham City pairs. Ron Dolby and Daniel Gloury (s) came out victorious over last year’s champions Govan Bellinger and Ron Goudie (s). Bellinger and Goudie had earlier beaten Sunnyside duo Keith Haeusler and Ash Batchelor to advance to the final.
The final of the ladies pairs will be between Judy Cassidy and Mavis Janetzki of Sunnyside and Jodie and Di Maddern of Kaniva. This will be at Sunnyside next Sunday.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the men’s and ladies state triples will be played at Sunnyside. The first day of the men’s state singles will be at Nhill on Sunday.
