Eight Demons players will be heading to four primary schools in the city – Horsham Primary, Horsham West, St Michael’s and Holy Trinity Lutheran College.
AFL Wimmera-Mallee football development manager Jason Muldoon said it should be an exciting day for the kids.
“In the past we have held a big super clinic, but we have decided to try something different and put the players into Horsham schools,” he said.
“We are hoping this will allow the kids to get more exposure to the players. In rural areas, sometimes the kids don’t get the opportunity to go to an AFL game. The kids love the players, it doesn’t matter who it is.”
Essendon will also be visiting the region in February, and are set to hold clinics in Hopetoun and Warracknabeal, while North Melbourne will be visiting Stawell.
