The tournament is the largest amateur golf tournament to take place in Victoria.
Horsham hosted one of the event’s regional qualifiers, with 66 golfers registering for the event.
Horsham’s own Nick Robertson and Ian Nitschke teamed up and took out the men’s event with a score of 45 points.
Enid Smith and Debbie Milne from Hamilton competed well and won the women’s competition with 44 points.
In the mixed event, Maree and Noel Fitzgerald from Coleraine were crowned winners, with a score of 47 points on countback.
Players travelled from across the South-West of the state, with competitors entering from Port Fairy, Willaura, Mortlake and Hamilton.
As expected, there were plenty of local entries from Horsham, while golfers also travelled from Dimboola, Toolondo, Stawell and Beaufort to take part.
