POLICE have arrested and interviewed a man regarding a bomb threat that forced Stawell Secondary College into lockdown.
Two emails sent to the school address claimed an explosive device planted on school grounds would detonate at 2pm on November 23.
Ararat Crime Investigation Unit’s Jamie Bennett said the man would be charged on summons.
He will face charges of false reporting and bomb hoaxing.
Students and staff were forced to evacuate into the science wing until detectives deemed the area safe following the threat.
No one was injured during the incident.
