Mr Hunt’s visit was announced earlier this month, and his team has now confirmed he will be in the region on February 21 and 22.
Former Assistant Health Minister David Gillespie was due to visit this week, but a cabinet reshuffle in December meant his portfolio ceased, and he instead became the Assistant Minister for Children and Families.
Member for Mallee Andrew Broad will tour the electorate with Mr Hunt. They are due to speak with health representatives in the Wimmera on the Wednesday, and spend the following day in the Mildura region.
Mr Hunt’s full itinerary is still being confirmed.
