Man in the Corner: What’s in a name?

A HORSHAM man has taken to deliberately calling his daughter by the wrong name.

The man's wife was a little upset earlier this week as she felt he wasn't spending as much time with their daughter – or showing as much love and affection – as he did with their first child, a son.

But rather than bending over backwards to show this was not the case – as we're sure it's not – the man decided to go the other way in an attempt to annoy his wife.

His name for their daughter sounds similar to her actual name, but is just different enough to imply he really is taking little interest in his new bub.

Let’s just hope the baby doesn’t pick up on this and become confused – it could be awkward when the time comes that she can talk.

On the other hand, it will no doubt make a great 21st birthday story.
