Tigers captain Luke Sonego elected to send the Bullants in to bat at Horsham College and it might be a decision he would like to have over.
Thomas Sudholz broke through to remove Bullants’ opener Kent Hair, 22, early in the day but from then on there was little relief for the Tigers.
Anson dominated a second-wicket partnership of 37 with captain Jordan McDonald, 22, before he and Shane Oakley blasted a further 133-for the third wicket.
Anson was eventually removed by Gavin Stephenson for 92 and Oakley fell shortly after for 68 off the bowling of Tom Iredell-Burke.
Despite breaking the big partnership the pain did not end there for the Jung Tigers outfit.
Stephenson’s second wicket to remove Brendan Ward for eight brought Colby Schmidt and David Combe together at the crease.
The pair took the score from 5-250 to 6-343 when Schmidt was dismissed by Chris Potter for 54. The Bullants lower order then offered little resistance.
Combe, 55, was the side’s last wicket when the team’s score had reach 363 from 72.5 overs. Potter finished with 5-55 from 10.5 overs.
Wet weather initially caused a delay in the game between Colts and the Horsham Saints before play was eventually abandoned due to wet patches on the wicket.
