Sienna Walsgott, 11, and Abhilasha Rodrigo, 11, were named the 298 campus school captains with Chloe Martin, 10, and Jayke Greig, 11, the vice captains.
Tyra King, 11, was named the school captain of the Rasmussen campus with Declan Clark, 11, the vice captain.
Principal Chris Walter, assistant principal Sandra Hood and the 2017 school captains interviewed the students for their new roles.
Abhilasha Rodrigo said it was exciting to take on the captaincy.
“We have a lot of responsibility with (other students) looking up to you,” he said.
“I think the four of us are perfect for the job and hope the other students benefit from it.”
Sienna Walsgott said she was surprised to gain the title of school captain.
“When I (became school captain) I was very excited and I was looking forward to doing all the assemblies and taking on the responsibilities,” she said.
Sienna said she wanted to improve her public speaking during her time in the role.
Jayke Greig said he looked forward to representing the school out of school hours while Chloe Martin said she wanted to be a good role model for the other students.
Tyra King said she wanted to be school captain because she wanted to represent her school and Declan Clark said he wanted to improve his public speaking skills.
