The field days has three areas dedicated to food and lifestyle exhibitors.
The Country Gourmet Pavilion features fine food, beverages and regional produce.
It is also home to the 300-seat Field Days Auditorium.
The Country Lifestyle Marquee features an array of products and wares including jewellery, home wares, cooking, health, beauty, arts and crafts.
Finally, the Country Lifestyle Square centres around the main food court.
Lifestyle co-ordinator Wendy Byrne said the Field Days Auditorium would host a number of live shows in 2018.
“We have three fashion parades this year, which will include two for ladies,” she said.
“There will also be a kids fashion parade on the Wednesday, which is our family day.”
Children at the field days on Wednesday can also meet George the Farmer.
Food will be a big feature in the Field Days Auditorium and Mrs Byrne said visitors could expect demonstrations from Magimix and Chef’s Toolbox.
“On Thursday we will have the Creekside Hotel from Warracknabeal do a barbecue demonstration.”
Horsham College will also present its student showcase at 2pm each day.
The showcase will include fashion parades, dance routines, live music and food.
Mrs Byrne said the committee was always looking for new features for the country lifestyle area.
“It can be hard to get businesses to come to the event though,” she said.
“We hope to have things that cater for all ages.”
Mrs Byrne said a dedicated ‘family day’ had been running on the Wednesday for the past few years.
She said it was great to see more families come along to the field days each year.
Field days manager Murray Wilson said it the event was about more than agriculture.
“It is important that we can offer the opportunity for everyone to visit, experience, enjoy and take something back with them from our event,” he said.
