This will be O’Connor’s second year at Kalkee after coming across from Wimmera Netball Association outfit Horsham Demons.
She said she was looking forward to stepping up as head coach.
“I’ve coached senior netball a bit before and we have a good A Grade side this year with a lot of new people around the club,” she said.

“I was happy to take on a bit of leadership for this year.”
O’Connor said she hoped the side could make finals this year.
“I definitely want us to make finals, after the disappointment of not making it last year,” she said.
“I want to keep some of the players from last year and develop some consistency.”
Kalkee will kick off their season against Laharum on April 7.
