The side sits third on 32 points, and has to not only win both of its remaining matches, against the two top sides, but also make up significant ground in percentage to overtake Drung South.
Their opponent this week is second-placed Drung South, who can confirm their standing as the league’s second-best side with a win at the weekend.
Haven will be kicking themselves after falling to Kalkee last week, in a match that all but confirmed they would finish the season in third.
It has been a solid season for Haven, but have missed out in crucial times to try and break into the top two.
One game behind Haven in fourth is Kalkee, who face the toughest of challenges against St Michael’s.
If Kalkee were to win both of their remaining games and Haven lose both of theirs, Kalkee would find itself in third place.
However, that outcome is extremely unlikely considering the dominance of St Michael’s this year.
The only team that has come within touching distance of the side has been Drung South.
In the other clash this week, the bottom two sides, Horsham Lawn and Natimuk, will be playing for pride when they meet at Lawn.
A Natimuk win would see them draw level with Lawn and could have a slight chance of moving off the foot of the table before the regular season comes to an end.
