Ararat police have appealed for information following thefts and property damage around Ararat North and Moyston.

Ararat Senior Constable Toni Chegwin said police were appealing for witnesses to a theft of two TYRI driving lights taken from an Ararat Rural City Council Grader.
“The grader was parked on the Moyston-Dunkeld Road, Moyston over the weekend between 4pm on the February 16 and 8.30am on February 19,” she said.
“We’re also appealing for witnesses to two separate thefts of tree olive trees stolen from outside Anytime Fitness in Campbell Street, Ararat.
“The first theft of one tree occurred on Sunday February 18 between 6am and 8.30am and the second theft of one tree and damage to another was overnight pm Wednesday February 21 to early Thursday morning.”
