Grade five and six students from Horsham West and Haven Primary Schools worked in teams and spoke to as many different business owners as possible.
Grade six student Alexis Richards said the students had to ask people about their job.
“The one question that most people were stuck on was how they use literacy in their job,” she said.
“We’ve found out some interesting things though – we went to one place and learnt about how machines could be controlled through satellites.”
Grade six student Hannah Weir said the students also asked people about how they used science and technology in business.
