The GoAbroad education students were hosted by the Little Desert nature lodge.
Conversation Volunteers Australia nature tour manager Joanne Issaverdis said the students experienced hands-on conversation activities.
“They helped repair conservation fence lines, checked remote camera traps to record data on wildlife movements, made tree guards for the upcoming winter tree planting season and assisted with maintenance work on wildlife aviaries,” she said.
Ms Issaverdis said the visit to Horsham College was a highlight of the student’s stay in the Wimmera.
