The sculpture of the year award was presented to back-to-back winner Marty Knight for his sculpture titled ‘the chase is on.’
Mr Knight was ecstatic to have won for his second year in a row.
His sculpture, which features a shark, seal and crab, was made out of driftwood that he found in a cave near Robe.
“I looked at it for a few weeks. I see things and wonder what I could do with them,” he said.
“It is interesting to make something different. It certainly is different to what I normally create.”
He said the standard of competition improved every year.
“It would be nice to have more people to have go and enter next year,” he said.
Mr Knight has the opportunity to enter a sculpture in the spirit of the land competition in Lockhart.
