The side had been set 141 to win by Brim-Kellalac-Sheep Hills on the first day and got off to a shaky start at Birchip.
Charlie Dean broke through the defences of Jake Leith and Cooper Anderson to have the side 2-8 after five overs.
Nathaniel Holmes-Brown and Dylan Ruurds brought some respectability back to the Donald scorecard but it was a big partnership between Dion Hawkes and Ross Funke that set the game up.
The pair put together a 73-run partnership to take the score from 5-40 to 6-113 by the time Hawkes, 21, became Ashley Herron’s third victim of the day.
Herron swiftly removed Samuel Griffiths shortly after to restore the hopes of Brim-Kellalac-Sheep Hills’ players.
Funcke continued his steady vigil with the aid of Harry Cashin to see the side over the line with five overs and three wickets to spare thanks to a 29-run partnership.
Funcke finished the game unbeaten on 70 while Herron managed 4-25 for Brim-Kellalac-Sheep Hills.
Donald have lost the past two grand finals after a triumph at the end of the 2014-15 season. The side will face off against Jeffcott after it made short work of a win against Birchip in the other semi-final.
Jeffcott played itself into a dominant position early and had already built a 40-run first innings lead by the end of the first day.
The game was finished by drinks on the second day with Jeffcott leading by 86 with a wicket still in hand.
