It will be a time of meeting old friends and beginning new friendships from around the world. Our CWA ladies are everywhere, and earlier this month one of our West Wimmera members spoke at a meeting I attended.
Her topic was Angel Gowns Australia, a non-profit charity that specialises in supplying Angel gown garments to families that have sadly had a baby pass away,
The hope is it gives families one moment of peace and beauty as they dress their baby for the first and last time.
Interestingly, one of the audience members was a former CWA member and a seamstress with Angel Gowns. The West Wimmera Group was also busy manning a site at the recent Wimmera Field Days.
At the end of the three days, they generously donated 22 knitted and handmade teddies to Samaritan's Purse to distribute through their Christmas shoe boxes.
