A STAR in the country music scene, Justin Standley will return for the Horsham Country Music Festival.
Mr Standley will perform a tribute to the late Glenn Campbell on Friday night, as well as, sing two sets of country music on Saturday and two sets of gospel on Sunday. He will finish off the festival with a performance at the Toys Chinese Restaurant on Sunday night.
He said the audience could expect a diverse performance from him with a mix of yodeling songs, country and gospel. Mr Standley said he looked forward to the gospel singing on Sunday.
“The Horsham Country Music Festival has the only gospel marathon session and it’s an absolute cracker,” he said. “The gospel music is fun and it’s always upbeat.”
Mr Standley said he was thrilled to return to the soundshell.
“We are spoiled with the Horsham soundshell. It’s a fantastic space for an outdoor concert,” he said.
Mr Standley performed at last year’s Country Music Festival. He said the audience played a key role in keeping the energy high.
“I was well received last year and my fingers are crossed that it is the same this year,” he said.
