Unfortunately, because of the difficulty of maintaining separation of patrons and participants in the venue, the meeting is to be conducted behind closed gates, under strict COVID-19 protocols and with only participants and essential officials in attendance.
Harness fans can follow all the action at Stawell live and free on the Trots Vision stream, national racing radio network and Sky, with full fields, form-guides and punting plans available at www.harness.org.au.

But it's full steam ahead for the public at Stawell's flagship event - Pacing & Trotting Cup - fast approaching on Sunday, December 12.
It's wishing "a trouble-free run and no bad luck" for Horsham trainer/driver Aaron Dunn and owner Steve Blacker when Flash Jimmy lines up at Melton on Saturday night in the $30,000 2YOColts & Geldings Final of the prestigious, Breeders Crown Series.
The youngster turned in a super-tough effort when second in his semi-final last week and although drawn awkwardly in gate five will make sure the hot-favourite Catch A Wave and polemarker Heza Son Of Agun, know they've been in a contest.
Ararat owner/trainer Tony Bond's 7yo mare Miss Chiante took out the West Side Function Room Pace at Horsham on Monday with promising concession driver Shannon O'Sullivan in the spider.
The veteran of 72 starts notched up just her fourth victory but has been a very honest conveyance for Bond, finishing in the first four placings on 36 occasions.
Despite racing without cover for the 2200 metre journey, Miss Chiante held off Straight Up (Michael Bellman ) in the run to the line with a gap to the pacemaker Kempseys Delight (Denbeigh Wade) in third place.
Local owner/trainer/driver Aaron Dunn snared the Claire Weston Photography 3YO Maiden Pace at Horsham with Potential Artist. The well-bred filly, by Art Major from Miss Potential, is a half-sister to the Dunn family's former star mare Nikkibadwagon (11 wins, $167k).
After a sweet trip from the pole trailing the leader Sunrise Ruby (James Herbertson), Potential Artist flashed late along the sprint lane to prevail by a nose with Blossom Delight (Greg Sugars) third.
Dunn races Potential Delight on lease from her breeders, the Andrews family.
Navarre horsewoman Marnie Bibby's rising 9yo gelding Wotchawaitingfor (Jack Laugher) broke a long drought at Horsham in the 1700 metre, Nat's Rug & Harness Pace.
The bay last tasted success some 70 starts ago at Melton in June 2019 but really deserved to bring up his 13th career victory at start 167 after posting a host of minor placings throughout that period.
Bibby had unveiled her 2YO debutante to score first-up at Bendigo back in February 2015 and she notched up another two wins before sending her charge over the border to SA trainer Michael Norman.
After four wins, it was back to Victoria with the Glen Douglas stable and a further five on the board for Wotchawaitingfor before Bibby landed her old favourite home some twelve months ago.
