An offer from Melbourne celtic rock singer William Hutton to help Horsham after the fire was the catalyst for an event to coincide with bushfire concerts in Melbourne and Sydney.
Mr Hutton's band Claymore, Alex Rathgeber, Gorgi Quill and Arkie Williams have donated their time to raise money for emergency services in Horsham.
Mr Hutton contacted former Awakenings director Denise Leembruggen to offer Claymore's support.
"Like everybody we have been sitting at home watching the news and you see places you know that have been affected by the fires," he said.
"When I saw Horsham had been badly affected I just had to do something. I told Denise we were available to entertain people and cheer them up."
Mr Hutton said Claymore loved the Awakenings festival.
"It's one of our favourite festivals and we also play at the Victoria Hotel," he said.
"We love Horsham, it's a great town with nice people."
Mr Hutton said the band hoped the Horsham community would support the concert.
"It's a great idea the profits are going to local emergency services," he said.
Horsham Rural City Council community development officer Bronwen Clark said the concert was a wonderful chance for people to thank emergency services and the community for their efforts during the fire.
"The spontaneous generosity of community members and other organisations has been amazing. Everyone cares deeply about the people affected by the Remlaw fire," she said.
Ms Clark said the style of the event was cabaret with table seating from 7.30pm.
She said tickets at adults $25, concession $20 and viewing only upstairs $15 would go on sale at council's Roberts Avenue office on Wednesday.
A family day on March 15 at Haven Recreation Reserve will feature free entertainment for adults and children.
