Kelm was reported for attempting to strike a Stawell player in the closing stages of the Saints' 21-point win against the Warriors.
Kelm is expected to face the Wimmera League tribunal this week.
He has a suspended sentence of four-matches hanging over his head after he was found guilty of striking Nhill's Aaron Beer during the finals last year.
Saints coach Brendan Broadbent said the club had yet to decide if it would challenge the charge or throw themselves at the mercy of the tribunal and plead guilty.
The Wimmera League was yesterday still looking at whether it could offer Kelm an early plea on the charge or force him to face the tribunal.
Even a one-match early plea would become a five-match suspension, all but ending Kelm's season.
If he was found guilty his only chance of playing again this season would be if the Saints, who look certain to finish second, qualify for the grand final via the preliminary final.
A Saints win in the qualifying final would end his season.
Broadbent said he couldn't believe Kelm was reported again.
"It's like Groundhog Day," he said. "You work hard to build a side and make it as strong as you can. We have been planning since October last year for this season. But some things are out of your control, like players getting reported."
