The business will open with new owners, a new location and newly-designed play equipment.
Wayne and Chelsea Filcock, who also own Schubert Catering, bought the play equipment in August last year.
Mr Filcock said a lot of work had gone into the reinvention of the business.
Kids Capers is now at 39 Hamilton Road.
Mr Filcock said the play equipment had been redesigned to better suit the location.
He said it was also easier to clean and more parent-friendly.
Mr Filcock said Wimmera workers did about 95 per cent of the work on the project.
He said it had taken a lot but he was excited to see the business finally open before Christmas, possibly before December 12.
"It's more for the community,'' he said.
"We started the planning process not long after we purchased the equipment.
"The main area probably started about June. It took 12 blokes to put the slide together. It's been huge.''
Mr Filcock said the play equipment construction included eight kilometres of string, more than 920 metres of bars, about 5000 zip ties and 140 kilograms of netting.
He said three people worked on the project full-time, with four casual workers.
The centre has two party rooms, one with a jungle theme and one with an ocean theme.
Though it has been a long process, the Filcocks knew they were doing the right thing when they looked at their two sons.
Zac, 7, and Tyler, 5, watched the project come to life and eagerly await the play centre's opening so everyone can enjoy it.
"My kids come here and have a ball,'' Mr Filcock said.
"There's a need for it in the community.
"It's a cafe with a difference. Parents can come and have a coffee while their kids play.
"It's a safe environment, we've gone to a lot of measures to make sure of that.''
Mr Filcock encouraged people to like Kids Capers on Facebook.
