The trial to determine how much compensation Powercor must pay the club started in Horsham on Monday and was expected to run for four weeks.
The settlement was reached after just one day.
The primary issue of the trial involved the loss sustained by the destruction of the golf course and loss of profits the club suffered.
Maddens Lawyers represented the golf club.
Principal Brendan Pendergast said the golf club was relieved the case was settled.
"There were overnight discussions on Monday between the two parties and they negotiated a settlement," he said.
Mr Pendergast said the settlement was announced in court on Tuesday morning.
He said the terms of the settlement were confidential.
Mr Pendergast said it was a complex and difficult case.
"There were complex issues regarding valuation of trees, ground water and financial lose and how that all applies to the club," he said.
