HORSHAM Golf Club manager Anthony Crute expects about 500 people at the official opening of the new clubhouse on Sunday.
Member for Lowan Hugh Delahunty will open the new building.
“After the bushfire, we had so many sporting clubs and committees help us out by donating services, equipment or just volunteering,” Mr Crute said.
“We invited anyone who assisted us in the building process to the opening.
“A large portion of the club is expected to attend as well.”
Mr Crute said many volunteers had been involved in the rebuilding.
“There has been an enormous amount of work behind the scenes,” he said.
The opening ceremony will begin at 11am and will be followed by a four-ball best-ball stableford at 1pm.
The bistro will open on September 25.
