Country Fire Authority fire services controller Glenn Thompson said fire-fighters received a call about 9pm.
“It was under control by 9.33pm, and out by 11.18pm,” he said.
Three Warracknabeal units attended.
Wimmera fire-fighters also battled a fire behind Murtoa’s grain transfer station for more than an hour on Saturday.
Mr Thompson said the CFA received the call-out to the Wimmera Highway about 2.15pm.
“There were five trucks on scene,” he said.
The fire was fully extinguished by 3.33pm.
Thirteen fire trucks and a fire-fighting aircraft tackled a fire near Donald yesterday.
Mr Thompson said the blaze at Jeffcott-Banyenong Road, Jeffcott North started as a truck fire.
It then spread into nearby stubble.
“The call was received at 12.47pm,” Mr Thompson said.
Fires also burned in Kaniva, Boolite and Dimboola throughout the weekend.
Mr Thompson said stubble and a lentil crop had been impacted by the small fires.
