The Cats are a on a roll, having defeated Essendon, Adelaide and Hawthorn in the past three rounds, but they have lost Paul Chapman, James Kelly, Josh Hunt and Billy Smedts to injury.
West Coast has managed to defy a long injury list until the past month, in which they have lost heavily to Sydney, Adelaide and Fremantle. They welcome back skipper Darren Glass and brilliant veteran Andrew Embley this week, and fans would be hoping they have bottomed out after being humbled in the Western Derby.
For the first quartern of last week's remarkable grudge match against Hawthorn, Geelong played footy of untouchable quality. They then had the fortitude to snatch a win after a quality opponent had eroded a large lead. In form, full of self-belief, and still possessing quality on every line, the Cats have the form to win, but dothey still have the personnel after last week's epic took such a toll?
