More than 100 Nationals members voted in an exhaustive pre-selection ballot on Saturday to chose the pre-selection candidate. The ballot lasted two rounds.
Ms Kealy is the chief executive of the Edenhope and District Memorial Hospital. She said she would work closely with outgoing Member for Lowan Hugh Delahunty to meet with constituents.
"I'm not taking anything for granted," she said.
"The lead-up to the election will be very competitive obviously and I'll be working closely with Hugh to meet as many people across the electorate as possible."
Ms Kealy was selected ahead of Horsham Mayor David Grimble, football administrator Bruce Petering, seasonal wool classer and tipper driver Russell McKenzie and businesswoman Andrea Cross.
