The home side proved far too strong for the Mallee men from the outset, with a seven goal to one first term setting up a 107-point victory.
Yarra Valley Mountain District won all four quarters in its comprehensive 25.12 (162) to 8.7 (55) win. An eight-goal to one final term blew out the final margin. The result puts an end to the Mallee league's four-game interleague winning streak.
Michael Fowkes starred for the hosts, booting 12 of their 25 goals in a best on ground performance, while five other Yarra Valley Mountain District players kicked multiple goals.
Beulah centre-half-forward Denis Redden and Woomelang-Lascelles duo Jack Shannahan and Jayden Lonergan kicked two goals each for the Mallee league.
Hopetoun and North Ballarat VFL-listed midfielder Coleman Schache was named the visitors' best, with Luke Martin, Haydn Drew and coach Col Durie also among the sides' better performers.
The Mallee league which was 12th in the rankings now moves back to 13th and will host the Nepean Football League in 2015.
