Four Wimmera Hockey Association players will be part of North-West Country Lightning zone squads to compete at the championships between July 1 and 4.
Kaniva brothers Luke and Duncan Shalders will both play for the Lightning – Luke in the under-13 boys squad and Duncan in the under-15 boys team.
Yanac’s Brittany Keam was picked in the under-17 girls team, while Horsham’s William Gulline will play for the under-17 boys.
They will be joined by 36 representatives from North Central Hockey Association.
North Central has five players in each of the boys and girls under-13 teams and the girls under-17s side.
There are eight North Central players in the girls under-15 team, seven in the boys under-17s and six in the boys under-15s.
Boort has the most representatives with 10, followed by Wedderburn, eight, Donald, six, Charlton, five, St Arnaud, four, and Birchip-Watchem, three.
The teams will have one more training session in Bendigo on June 15 before the championships.
