Umpires: G. Schutz and G. Rigby.
Last time they met: Round six, 2014. Kalkee 36.20 (236) d Pimpinio 4.3 (27).
KALKEE travels to Pimpinio Recreation Reserve on Saturday looking to recreate what was the biggest win of the year so far.
The Kees decimated Pimpinio by 209 points in their meeting last month.
With Kalkee fifth on the ladder, percentage will play a big part in how it finishes the home-and-away season.
Coach Trevor O’Brien said his team’s focus was to get another four points on the board.
“Percentage is handy, but it is never the goal,” he said.
“For us, it’s all about doing the team things.
“We had so much success against them last time because of just that – we played as a team and weren’t selfish.”
Tigers coach Mal Coutts said the loss to Kalkee was a big let down, but not as big as the one against Taylors Lake at the weekend.
He said his team simply had to be better.
“Sometimes we can play one good quarter and progress from that, but after last week we’ve just got to stand up,” he said.
“Our biggest worry at the moment is our ability to run and use the football, and the mistakes we make over and over again do your head in sometimes.
“The good news is that we had good numbers on the training track and they’re enthusiastic.”
Chris Miller and Dylan Baker are unlikely to play, and Harry Wood is unavailable.
O’Brien said he expected to the Kees to name an unchanged line-up.
