Natimuk United-Laharum racism investigation resolved

A HORSHAM District Football Netball League investigation into an alleged racist incident between Laharum and Natimuk United has been resolved.

Western Vic Football general manager Stephen McQueen confirmed the investigation had concluded and the matter had been resolved, but was unable to provide more information due to AFL Victoria policy guidelines.

AFL Victoria's vilification and discrimination policy states any documents or information regarding a complaint must remain confidential for seven years from the date the complaint is made.

The investigation relates to an incident from the June 7 match at Cameron Oval between the Mountain Men and Rams.

A Laharum player allegedly racially abused Natimuk United players during the second quarter.

The league received an official complaint from Natimuk United on June 10, and has been investigating since.
