The showcase is at Horsham Senior Citizens Centre from 1pm to 4pm.
Society committee member Colleen Dix said there would be masses of flowering orchids on display.
“There will be many different varieties, some of which are only seen in bloom at this time of the year,” she said.
Mrs Dix said a special feature at this year’s show would be a commemorative prize sash to be awarded to the grand champion orchid.
“This award will be presented in honour of the late Betty Kimberley, who, together with her late husband Ellery, was one of the main instigators of the winter show,” she said.
“It is anticipated this award will be hotly contested.”
Mrs Dix said there would also be orchid plants available for sale.
“The sales are always a popular element of both the winter and spring shows,” she said.
“As always, members of the society will be on hand with helpful advice on orchid culture.”
She said admission was by gold coin donation.
