When: Friday at 7pm at Wesley Performing Arts Centre in Horsham.
Details: A screening of the Department of Education’s Lost in the Bush film. Copies of the film are available for $5 from Wimmera Regional Library Corporation branches.

Details: Horsham Historical Society will present an assortment of newspaper articles, documents, photos, family descendant charts and other items in the Mechanics Institute Buildings in Pynsent Street.

Community afternoon tea
When: Sunday, 1.30pm to 3pm.
Details: Barengi Gadjin Land Council and West Wimmera Shire Council will host a community afternoon tea at the Lost in the Bush Memorial, Jane Duff Memorial Park, Natimuk-Frances Road, Mitre. Descendents of the Duff-Cooper family and Nurcoung residents will share stories during an informal gathering.

Cemetery tour
When: 10am to 11.30am.
Details: Horsham Historical Society will host a guided tour of graves linked to the descendents of the Cooper-Duff family at Horsham Cemetery, Wuwunna Road, Horsham. If the weather is poor, the talk will be at the Horsham Historical Society rooms in Pynsent Street.

Found Day picnic
When: Wednesday, August 20, 10am to 2pm.
Details: A commemoration ceremony at Jane Duff Memorial Park, Natimuk-Frances Road, Mitre. School activities between 10am to 12.30pm. The day includes a smoking ceremony, Welcome to Country and the announcement of the winner of the writing competition. Victorian Aboriginal Heritage Council’s Tim Chatfield will unveil an official plaque at 1.15pm.
