His son Wade said Mr Morrow, 76, was diagnosed with the disease about seven weeks ago.
“He had been battling with it ever since,” he said.
Mr Morrow died early Saturday morning.
He was husband to Barbara Morrow and father of Gavin, Wade, Shannon and Tanya.
Mr Morrow also had nine grandchildren.
“He spent lots of time doing things with them,” Wade said.
“He lived for his family.”
Wade said his father was community minded and always tried to do the right thing by other people.
“He was always one to look out for other people’s interests,” he said.
Mr Morrow lived an eventful life.
He survived four heart attacks, a severe stutter and various career changes.
“Before he was a car dealer, he started work in a fruit shop,” Wade said.
“Then he became a pastry cook, then worked on a farm before he started as a share farmer many years ago.
“He got into wrecking trucks. At that point Holden approached him to become a Holden dealer at Warracknabeal.
“He spent just under 40 years in the car industry from that point on.”
Wade said his father finally found his mark.
Mr Morrow also dabbled in writing.
His literary journey began with his life story, called Have You Been Rabbiting Lately?
Mr Morrow launched his debut novel, Love and Shadows, in June.
His funeral starts at 2pm on Thursday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Warracknabeal.
