Horsham Magistrate’s Court has heard a police officer feared he would be run over by a four-wheel-drive, prompting him to point a gun at the driver during the Remlaw fire. The court heard Donald Kenneth Carter, 69, of Horsham, drove at Detective Sergeant Stephen Walker, who had refused to let him return to his house which was under threat from approaching fire on February 7.
