School principal Jeff Gork, along with teachers Mark Busbridge, Sally Kuchel and Claire Petrass, travelled to the Philippines on Friday.
The group will spend the first week of the school holidays in the Magalang region a province of Pampanga just north of Manila working with teachers and presenting lectures.
Mr Gork said the group first travelled to Hong Kong, then to the Clark Air Base in the Philippines.
"Our partnership will be with Pampanga Agricultural College, which has a large teacher training faculty, and San Augustins Elementary School which is a government primary school of about 350 students," he said.
"San Augustins is located in a poorer rural region and over half of their students do not continue with any form of schooling beyond primary school.
"Our Student Representative Council has been busy raising money this year to fund a number of projects within the school which include the refurbishment of a disused room into a library, the provision of art supplies, stationery and general reading material."
Mr Gork said the school was invited to become part of the project with the two schools in the Philippines through its study tours with schools in Hong Kong.
He said the staff would present a number of workshops and lectures to the training teachers at the agricultural college.
"We will be working closely with our teaching colleagues at San Augustins, teaching lessons to the students, working to refurbish the new library and further developing our partnership," he said.
"During our visit, an official Memorandum of Understanding will be signed by the two schools and PAC.
"This truly is an exciting venture of our school which fits nicely within our culture of service."
