Horsham added hard-running duo Jake Lloyd and Tyler Blake to its 22 and Warrack gave key forward Jesse Murphy his second grand final in as many years.

All three were named in their respective teams' best players and showed they have what it takes to be stars of the future.

Lloyd and Blake provided plenty of run out of the half-back line in the first quarter before playing mainly in the centre.

It was Lloyd's fourth premiership for the Demons, and Blake's first.

Nick Pekin was full of praise for his younger team-mates and expected big things for both of them. "If they don't get drafted, I don't know what the recruiters are doing to be honest," he said. "They are both impressive players and did their jobs."

Murphy was arguably the Eagles' most influential player, with the strong-marking forward booting five goals to keep his side in contention during the third quarter.

Warrack Eagles president David Stewart said Murphy worked hard all day in the forward line. "We couldn't have asked for much more from him," he said.

All three players will be hoping to find a spot on an AFL list for next season, with Lloyd and Blake having received invites to attend the AFL Draft State Combine at Etihad Stadium on October 6.
