After a slow start on Saturday, Horsham's netballers dominated the Wimmera Netball Association grand final day.

The Demons went down in the 13 and under Grade to co-tenants the Horsham RSL Diggers by three goals, and was thrashed by red-hot favourites Warrack Eagles in the 15 and under A competition.

But that was the last loss Horsham suffered from on the day, as it won the four remaining premierships on offer.

Horsham's 17 and under netballers defeated Stawell 51-36 in the early afternoon, with Jedda Heard named best-on-court.

The next grand final was the B Grade, where Horsham withheld a resurgent Dimboola to win 39-36.

Horsham looked to be home at three-quarter time, but the Roos came within a few goals late in the match.

Demons defender Mel Scott was a worthy recipient of best-on-court honours.

In the main event the A Grade competition Horsham was too good for Ararat, winning 51-37.

Budding Horsham attacker Steph Thomson was named best player.

Next up on court was the C Grade, where Horsham was playing cross-town rivals Horsham Saints.

The Demons won in a close encounter, with Alana Nelson adding the best-on-court medallion to the C Grade best and fairest award she won earlier in the week.

Digger Aily McAuliffe capped off an impressive season by winning the medal for best player in the 13 and under, with Warrack's Summer Schultz best in the 15 and under A competition. Warrack Eagles also prevailed in the 15 and under B, with Tanya Leith leading the way in the Eagles' 35-22 win over Ararat.
