Organiser Robyn Lardner said the show called Art with Flair(s) would feature 1970s food, music and costumes.
"Rotarians will be dressed in costumes from the 1970s and we would love the public to come dressed in their best seventies gear," Mrs Lardner said.
"There will be prizes for the best dressed couple and best dressed male and female.
"Dave McMaster is coming to play and the town hall stage will be set up like the Sunbury Music Festival, which was very famous in the early 1970s."
Mrs Lardner said Horsham Photography Group would have an exhibition and the show would also include a market and craft displays.
"We encourage people to come along to the show because it is an icon in the arts world," she said.
"We have been running this show for 38 years this year and it's always a fantastic night.
"People come and catch up with other people and there are 500 works entered from all over Australia."
Mrs Lardner said tickets for the opening night cost $25 and included drinks and nibbles, while tickets would be $5 across the art show weekend.
She said people could call Terry Harris on 0429 113 383 to book opening night tickets or call into the Elders Insurance office at 79 Wilson Street, Horsham.
