A Victoria Police media spokeswoman said the man died on a farm on Coker Dam Road about 12.45pm.

“It appears the man, aged in his 70s, was doing some work on a ceiling of a shed when he fell to the ground,” she said.

“He died at the scene from head injuries.

“Police are preparing a report for the coroner.”

A Worksafe team arrived at the scene on Tuesday night.

Nhill police, Ambulance Victoria and Horsham Crime Investigation Unit members were also involved.
