The former Serviceton woman part of the Melbourne-based team Ellipsis, which defeated Sydney’s Rogue Alliance at the Australian Ultimate Championships at Ballarat last week.
Tink said Ellipsis felt confident going into the grand final clash, having defeated Rogue Alliance in previous fixtures.
"We'd beaten them before, so we were confident that we could win," she said.
"We knew that we had to play our game to win, and we couldn't get sucked into their game plan.
"We managed to get three early goals and three blocks, and from there we just put the pressure on really well."
The victory is the latest achievement of Tink's decorated ultimate frisbee career.
She will represent Australia at the World Ultimate and Guts Championships in London in June.
The world championships will be the first time Tink has played in an open division instead of a women’s.
She said she was excited for the challenge.
"I was a bit nervous about it at first, as it's the first time being in an open division for me," she said.
"But the atmosphere around the squad is great, and I'm just really excited to get to London."
With the nationals season now over, Tink said her focus would be solely on preparation for the championships, on June 18-24.
