Border Districts coach Cameron Sandercock said his team was strong in the first half, but lost momentum in the second.
“In the second half the boys just laid down,” he said.
“Their attack on the ball wasn’t there and we were flat-footed.”
Sandercock said Mundulla’s numbers on the ball, their delivery and their attack were too strong to beat.
“We thought we could’ve had a win – we came to play – but then we left it in the change rooms,” he said.
Kaniva-Leeor United was also unsuccessful in its match against Kybybolite, going down by 93 points.
Cougars coach Colin Macaffer said his side started off competitively but struggled with injuries. Hamish Bennett was sent to hospital at half-time, and the Cougars also lost several other players with minor injuries.
“We were undermanned in the final quarter, but we showed a bit of spirit,” Macaffer said.
