College teacher and former student Brandi Galpin said the event, which celebrated music and students through the ages, was huge.
"We had 450 people at the dinner and the night went fabulously well, with students from the 1930s and `40s, through to now represented," she said.
"The waiting staff were current college students dressed in old school uniforms and we had 47 students from years seven through to VCE performing songs through the eras.
"Some were performing for the first time, while others were old pros, like the VCE ensemble.
"It was a huge event, but it was absolutely worth it to hear those cries of 'oh, it is you'."
Miss Galpin said when the first bus pulled up to take people back to Horsham at 10.30pm, nobody wanted to leave.
"I thought some of the older people might want to go home, but no-one left," she said.
"It was a really pleasant, positive and enjoyable night and people really appreciated the opportunity to catch up and see some of the memorabilia on display."
Miss Galpin said students performed five songs from each decade of the school's life, up until the 1950s.
"We performed 10 songs for each decade after that," she said.
"I had so many compliments about the selection of music and the way the students conducted themselves they did themselves, and me, proud."
